Update Will Add Speakerphone To Chocolate

Verizon will offer an update to enable speakerphone on the Chocolate. The upgrade will be part of a free software update that owners will be able to get by going into any Verizon store starting next week. Even though the Chocolate offers a number of advanced features, it did not launch with speakerphone capabilities, despite the fact that it is common on even the most basic handsets lately. Verizon does not yet offer over the air (OTA) updates, which allows users to patch oversights and bugs by downloading new software to the phone directly from the network. Sprint offers this capability on most their newer phones.

Nokia BH-302 Bluetooth Headset

Nokia has recently announced a large selection of enhancements designed to “enhance your mobile and music experience”. In addition to a new line of advanced headphones and music speakers, Nokia is also releasing some new models of Bluetooth Headsets.
One of them is the BH-302 Bluetooth Headset, which looks less like a practical piece of technology and more like an earring. Especially with those odd circles carved into it that are reminiscent of those crop circles from the movie Signs. Whatever you think of its aesthetic appeal, this headset has the goods. From the multifunction button that controls your call functions, to the 10 hours worth of talk time (up to 195 hours on standby), this thing is packed for work, and it is packed very small. The Nokia BH-302 should be available soon, but no word about the price or release date.

Pantech PG-C300 Cell Phone Review

The Pantech PG-C300, whether perceptively or realistically is one of the smallest flip phones in the world. For all of you who think small is thin, than you perception of the word in this instance is incorrect. It’s not the thinnest phone in the world, but has incredibly miniature dimensional proportions. The Pantech PG-C300 is a compact clamshell cellular phone with dual TFT color displays, a VGA camera, Java, Picture ID, and a speakerphone. Pretty well equipped compared to its size. In addition, you can personalize your PG-C300 with custom graphics and ringtones that are downloadable through the Cingular network. New RhinoSkin iPod Covers

RhinoSkin have announced new cases to match the recent iPod Nano and iPod Video releases, somehow they haven't made a cover for the new iPod shuffle, maybe in the near future they will be able to come up with something to cover the small player. The iPod Nano receives a new look with the Leather Flipcase (price tag of $29.95) that is available in 5 colors (pink, buff, red, tan or black) and is suppose to protect your Nano to the fullest. As the name suggest it comes with the RhinkSkin belt clip system that you can either remove or leave it depending on your needs. There is another leather case model for the iPod Video (30GB or 80GB) that comes in either black or pink and has a good add-on = there are 3 small pockets inside the cover for your ID, Credit Card, or any other kind of small card. This bigger leather model costs $34.95.Besides leather there are Aluminum cases as well, polycarbonate and aluminum are the 2 materials that will protect your iPod Nano or Video from scratches on the player, on the screen, and other bumps that might occur. The Aluminum case costs $29.95 for the Nano, and the iPod Video will go for $34.95.Take note that all these iPod covers allow one must-have-feature that all covers should have (but some don't), that is access to the click wheel that takes care of the player functions and also leave space for headphone jacks and battery port. On top of all this, all types of RhinoSkin cases include a StuffBak loss prevention label, a system that rewards finders in case your device gets lost.

Motorola Razr V3m vs. V3, V3c, and V3i Cell Phone Review

It seems as though Motorola will go through the entire alphabet before the Motorola Razr will diminish from the market completely. But don't be surprised if the Razr puff's out a bit more steam to run its sturdy engine into the near future. The Razr is still in the top 10 in the cellular phone market and now with less competition in the market for the phone, the Razr can be acquired anywhere in cellular market. With various versions popping out in the market, cellular carriers usually will carry one version or another to complement their own Razr's edge. Cingular a national carrier introduced the 1st version of the Razr in silver & black color tones. Eventually the phone was offered under the T-mobile umbrella but only in the Silver version. Today the V3 Razr editions not only come in various versions, but has streamlined to various colors, such as silver, gray, pink, magenta, black, baby blue, and even baby pink.

Sky IM-U130 Jukebox Cell Phone

It's sad to see good cellphones on the Korean market only, but I guess most of us are used to that. With that said, the Korean company Sky has revealed their new cellphone IM-U130, not only it works as a normal phone but it can also have the MP3 player status. If 512MB of internal memory isn't enough for your favorite songs that's not a problem because the Sky cellphone also supports microSD cards to give that extra space you need. With one single full charge the battery life can last 20 hours which is a positive performance, it also has a 2.0megapixel camera and connectivity modes include bluetooth. The whole package includes a headset to match the cellphone and make the most of the mp3 player features. The price is unknown.

Original LG Portable Stereo Speakers MSP-100

With a multitude of music-enabled MP3 phones in the market today it’s a wonder why no one developed portable speakers to accompany their music phones. LG a “Korean giant” in the market currently has taken steps in developing this authentic lightweight sleek looking portable LG stereo speaker system specifically meant to work cohesively with Verizon’s MP3 enabled music phones. Though the device has Verizon’s insignia upon its shell the device works with “ALL” music enabled phones and other devices that can be adapted to a 2.5mm prong system. Therefore, for all you folks that cannot adapt their music devices to a 2.5mm prong connection, then this LG Portable Stereo Speaker MSP-100 will not work for you currently. However, there is a probability that an adapter will be developed for your particular phone that will enable your non-2.5mm music-enabled phone to fall into the specifications needed to connect with the LG portable stereo speaker. So check back at accessorygeeks.com from time to time to see if there is any change thus far.

KEF Introduces the KEFDock for iPods

This is the age of the MP3, and players such as the iPod are almost a daily requirement among people on-the-go, especially the youth. Unfortunately, the iPod is too often a private experience, with headphones-only usage giving quality music to only one listener. KEF has found a way for a user to share his or her music with the KEFDock, an Instant Stereo system designed with the iPod in mind. The KEFDock is a classy looking die-cast station with a port on top to plug in your iPod. You can then select from your iPod LCD screen what tunes to listen to, and everyone in the room (and probably outside of it) can enjoy them as well. The KEFDock comes with nine iPod Adaptors, and is compatible with several different models including the iPod photo, iPod nano, and even iPod video. The KEFDock should be available October 2006 with a price of $149.99.

Motorola intros white PEBL

After RAZR, I think its Pebl's turn now! But the obsession continues... It seems that Motorola has mastered this art, launching new colours of the existing handsets with a reasonable amount of fanfare that other companies can only dream off! Check out the beautiful white Pebl in the pic acquired, shown by even more beautiful Maria! (hehe) Well, it has always left me pondering on why on earth would a company launch a different colour of an existing handset? Dubious, but it has worked for them unfortunately, some marketing brains though! Ironically it was Sharapova who endorsed the magenta RAZR phone and now the white PEBL. You won't be able to lay your hands on one of these until you enter a contest. Motorola will be giving away these special edition PEBL phones for the lucky winners of the contest. Fifty damn lucky winners will receive one special edition MOTOPEBL phone in White printed with Maria's signature. One really wonders what Motorola is going to come up with when the contest
