Samsung today announced the availability of the SGH-D357, Cingular Wireless' premiere product for its highly anticipated Push To Talk service launch. The D357 offers consumers "walkie-talkie" style communication, for quick and easy connectivity in an attractive and multi-functional device. Enhancing productivity, the D357's Push To Talk feature allows users to connect to one person, or to a group of people, instantly with the touch of a button. With the phone's Bluetooth wireless technology, users can pair with or exchange data wirelessly between the phone and a Bluetooth-enabled computer, PDA or Samsung Bluetooth headset.

Mobile executives who rely on technology to provide instantaneous connectivity to their office or co-workers will find that the D357 includes multiple integrated technology features in a sophisticated form factor. Equipped to act as a wireless modem device to connect to a laptop, the D357 allows users to surf the Web and check e-mail, all while traveling from one meeting to the next. With the D357's advanced voice recognition technology, users can speak phone numbers to dial, as well as launch applications, hands-free.
"Samsung's D357 is a user-friendly device for consumers who desire a quick alternative to traditional voice calls," said Peter Skarzynski, senior vice president, Samsung.
