Alltel, a leading American wireless service provider has teamed up with RIM or Research In Motion to bring the BlackBerry 7130e mobile to Alltel’s high-speed Axcess Broadband network. The Axcess EVDO network has lightening speeds (up to 2.5 Mbps) and users would be able to enjoy high internet access. This would take Alltel’s mobile business to the next level in the States and most likely make the BlackBerry 7130e a runaway hit.
The Blackberry 7130e is considered by many the perfect Business Phone and users can opt for the unlimited data service for $44.99 per month. It is available in Alltel retail stores for $299.99 with a two-year service agreement. The BlackBerry 7130e is an extremely featured rich phone and has essential business applications like wireless e-mail, text messaging, organizer, Web and corporate data.
The BlackBerry 7130e comes with a high –resolution LCD and features the SureType keyboard technology from RIM and has a 64MB of flash memory. The BlackBerry Internet Service lets one access to 10 different email accounts and the Blackberry Enterprise Server software tightly integrates with Microsoft Exchange, IBM Lotus Domino and Novell GroupWise and works with existing enterprise systems for unlimited and smooth wireless access.
