KEF Introduces the KEFDock for iPods

This is the age of the MP3, and players such as the iPod are almost a daily requirement among people on-the-go, especially the youth. Unfortunately, the iPod is too often a private experience, with headphones-only usage giving quality music to only one listener. KEF has found a way for a user to share his or her music with the KEFDock, an Instant Stereo system designed with the iPod in mind. The KEFDock is a classy looking die-cast station with a port on top to plug in your iPod. You can then select from your iPod LCD screen what tunes to listen to, and everyone in the room (and probably outside of it) can enjoy them as well. The KEFDock comes with nine iPod Adaptors, and is compatible with several different models including the iPod photo, iPod nano, and even iPod video. The KEFDock should be available October 2006 with a price of $149.99.
