The Blackberry 8100 Pearl offered by CellularOne is essentially the same as all of Pearls in the market place. The Blackberry Pearl in itself, is a phone that has been designed for those of us who want more "looks" and features for our Blackberries. The Pearl includes a nice camera, which is a first for blackberries, a removable MicroSd memory card slot, bluetooth technology, and a built in music player. One of the most notable changes would be the replacement of the Track Wheel with a Pearl like track ball located in the center of the phone. While this may hard for current Blackberry users to get used to, rest assured that navigation throughout the phone is not compromised with the addition of the track ball and it's actually a nice little addition.

The Blackberry Pearl is a GSM based phone, so do expect it to be released for various other GSM carriers such as T-Mobile, At&t , and Suncom and also expect the 8100 Pearl to have a large selection of accessories readily available at AccessoryGeeks.com

I really hate this phone. The usability on this phone really sucks. Some applications on this phone are so outdated. I do not recommend this phone to anyone.

To the commenter above, she is completely wrong. I believe that cell phone model is the best phone to date. She has no clue what she is talking about.
