Verizon: America's most reliable 3G Network?
There has been a court battle heating up over an advertising claims by Verizon: America's most reliable 3G network. Verizon's rival AT&T calls it misleading.
In order to settle this issue, Verizon sued AT&T in a Manhattan federal court. Verizon is seeking a judgment that their advertising claims are truthful, accurate, and substantiated.
The dispute was sparked because Verizon said they invented a new formula for calculating "reliability" and according to their formula, their 3G wireless network is the most reliable. However, AT&T believes that the network speed is an essential factor for consumers and it should be a definitive factor in determining a reliable 3G network.
